R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The Trinity Christian Academy tennis team dominated |
|
the girls' singles division at the 2007 Texas Christian Athletic |
|
Fellowship state tennis tournament; and |
|
WHEREAS, Sophomore Bekah Mack took home the first-place |
|
prize, while junior Lacy Barnett finished second; freshman Danielle |
|
Holcomb completed the team's sweep of the top three spots with her |
|
third-place finish; and |
|
WHEREAS, These talented student-athletes received |
|
outstanding support and guidance from Coach Natalie Head, who |
|
shared her knowledge, insights, and strategic analysis with her |
|
young champions; and |
|
WHEREAS, This impressive performance earned these young |
|
players well-deserved respect among their classmates at Trinity |
|
Christian Academy, and they have indeed represented their school |
|
with distinction; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Bekah Mack, Lacy Barnett, Danielle |
|
Holcomb, and Coach Natalie Head of Trinity Christian Academy on |
|
their success at the 2007 Texas Christian Athletic Fellowship state |
|
tennis tournament and extend best wishes to them for continued |
|
achievement both on and off the court; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for the players and Coach Head as an expression of high |
|
regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
