R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, May 5, 2007, was indeed a special day for Timur Tsend |
|
|
and Laura DeLeon, for on that day they exchanged their wedding vows |
|
|
in Pasadena and embarked on a new life together as husband and wife; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Tsend and Martha Nyam, Timur Tsend was |
|
|
born in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia; he completed the vocational nursing |
|
|
program at San Jacinto College, and he also earned his associate's |
|
|
degree in business from that institution in 2004; the following |
|
|
year, he received his associate's degree in nursing from Excelsior |
|
|
College; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Wilber and Clarivel DeLeon, Laura |
|
|
DeLeon was born in Guatemala; she attended San Jacinto College and |
|
|
has studied at Texas Woman's University since 2006; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends gathered to celebrate the joyous |
|
|
union of Timur Tsend and Laura DeLeon in Pasadena at the home of the |
|
|
Tarkingtons, the family who first hosted Mr. Tsend as an |
|
|
international student; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The marriage of Mr. Tsend and Ms. DeLeon signals |
|
|
their commitment to a relationship that has grown in love, respect, |
|
|
and mutual regard with each passing day, and it is truly a pleasure |
|
|
to honor this fortunate couple on their union; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Timur Tsend and Laura DeLeon on the |
|
|
joyous occasion of their wedding and extend to them warmest best |
|
|
wishes for great happiness together; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
