R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to |
|
|
recognize June Koo for her exemplary service as a legislative |
|
|
intern in the office of State Representative Debbie Riddle; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Koo has performed her |
|
|
duties with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of |
|
|
special recognition for her notable efforts; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Koo has had the opportunity to discover much |
|
|
during her tenure as an intern, most notably that she has no designs |
|
|
on a career in the legislature; yet despite her contentions |
|
|
regarding career choices, she has executed her duties cheerfully |
|
|
and efficiently, whether diving into a large stack of work or making |
|
|
a cafeteria run for her coworkers; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With her admirable work ethic and commitment to |
|
|
excellence in all she undertakes, Ms. Koo will undoubtedly excel in |
|
|
whichever profession she ultimately chooses; her tireless |
|
|
contributions as a member of Representative Riddle's staff are a |
|
|
testament to her strong character and commitment to teamwork and |
|
|
have earned her the distinction of being deemed the intern the |
|
|
representative would most like to adopt as a role model for her |
|
|
grandchildren; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend June Koo for her service as a |
|
|
legislative intern and extend to her sincere best wishes for the |
|
|
future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Koo as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
