R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Shelly Hillman has served with distinction as |
|
|
Republican Party precinct chair of Precinct 504 in Harris County, |
|
|
making lasting contributions to the people of the county and to |
|
|
traditional values; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Precinct chairs are integral to the success of the |
|
|
party's mission to elect public servants who will build a better |
|
|
state and nation for our families and children based on these values |
|
|
and core conservative principles that make our state strong, |
|
|
prosperous, and proud; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Because public policy affects our daily lives, the |
|
|
work of these dedicated community leaders helps to build a state |
|
|
where all people can fulfill their dreams and achieve their |
|
|
potential; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, It is most appropriate to take this opportunity to |
|
|
recognize an outstanding Texan who has devoted time, energy, and |
|
|
talents toward realizing Texas Republican Party platform goals such |
|
|
as limiting government power, strengthening and safeguarding |
|
|
children and families, protecting citizens from crime, and |
|
|
strengthening the economy; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Shelly Hillman for serving as Republican |
|
|
Party chair of Precinct 504 in Harris County and extend sincere best |
|
|
wishes to this public-spirited individual for the future; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Shelly Hillman as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
