R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Tommy and Ann Evans of Quinlan celebrated their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary on May 19, 2007, and they may indeed reflect |
|
|
with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Evans exchanged the vows of matrimony |
|
|
in 1957, and over the course of their marriage, they have found in |
|
|
each other a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Tommy and Ann Evans count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family, with whom they share the many special occasions of |
|
|
life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Mr. and Mrs. Evans have brought |
|
|
to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a |
|
|
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Tommy and Ann Evans on their golden |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Evans as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
