R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Public education is an endeavor vital to all Texans, |
|
|
and those individuals who devote themselves to the academic |
|
|
development of our young people are helping to ensure that the |
|
|
future of the Lone Star State rests in capable hands; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Teaching requires character, commitment, and |
|
|
passion, and Maria Magdalena Escobar of Roma Independent School |
|
|
District has demonstrated those qualities in abundance throughout |
|
|
her 31-year career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Providing for the diverse educational needs of our |
|
|
future leaders is an undertaking of paramount importance, and |
|
|
Ms. Escobar embodies the spirit of service and dedication that are |
|
|
the hallmarks of a good teacher; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The influence of an educator extends far beyond the |
|
|
walls of the classroom and the duration of the school year, and |
|
|
Maria Magdalena Escobar has worked to instill in her students a |
|
|
lifelong love of learning that will serve them well in every aspect |
|
|
of their lives; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Maria Magdalena Escobar for her |
|
|
invaluable contributions to the students of Roma Independent School |
|
|
District and extend to her best wishes for continued success with |
|
|
her important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Escobar as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
