R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Gina Chung has provided indispensable support to the |
|
House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence and Chairman Aaron Pena |
|
throughout the 80th Legislative Session; and |
|
WHEREAS, During her tenure as committee clerk, Ms. Chung has |
|
ably handled a number of diverse responsibilities, including |
|
managing the oversight of the committee operations and policy, |
|
directing staff and interns, writing and editing bill analyses and |
|
compiling committee reports, and tracking all legislation |
|
pertaining to criminal justice; and |
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Ms. |
|
Chung first began her work in the 76th Legislative Session, and she |
|
has since served as committee clerk for the Joint Legislative |
|
Oversight Committee on Long-Term Care and as legislative director |
|
for Representative Debbie Riddle; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Chung's resolve and conscientious efforts have |
|
greatly contributed to the efficient functioning of the House |
|
Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence and to assisting Chairman Pena |
|
during the course of the session; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Gina Chung for her service as committee |
|
clerk with the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence and |
|
Chairman Aaron Pena and extend to her sincere best wishes for the |
|
future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Chung as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
