R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Gina Chung has provided indispensable support to the
  House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence and Chairman Aaron Pena
  throughout the 80th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, During her tenure as committee clerk, Ms. Chung has
  ably handled a number of diverse responsibilities, including
  managing the oversight of the committee operations and policy,
  directing staff and interns, writing and editing bill analyses and
  compiling committee reports, and tracking all legislation
  pertaining to criminal justice; and
         WHEREAS, A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Ms.
  Chung first began her work in the 76th Legislative Session, and she
  has since served as committee clerk for the Joint Legislative
  Oversight Committee on Long-Term Care and as legislative director
  for Representative Debbie Riddle; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Chung's resolve and conscientious efforts have
  greatly contributed to the efficient functioning of the House
  Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence and to assisting Chairman Pena
  during the course of the session; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Gina Chung for her service as committee
  clerk with the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence and
  Chairman Aaron Pena and extend to her sincere best wishes for the
  future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Chung as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
