R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 80th Legislative Session, Taylor |
|
Fitzgerald has ably served the Texas House of Representatives as an |
|
intern with the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence and |
|
Chairman Aaron Pena; and |
|
WHEREAS, A junior at The University of Texas at Austin, Ms. |
|
Fitzgerald first became interested in public service during her |
|
tenure as Teen Ambassador of the Juvenile Diabetes Research |
|
Foundation; in that position, she gave interviews and met with |
|
leaders to raise public awareness of type one diabetes and worked to |
|
motivate young children suffering from the disease; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Fitzgerald has been of great assistance to the |
|
House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence during her internship at |
|
the State Capitol; in addition to enhancing her knowledge of the |
|
legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star |
|
State, she has gained further experience in the field of public |
|
service; and |
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Cindy and Mike |
|
Fitzgerald, Taylor Fitzgerald has performed her duties as a |
|
legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Taylor Fitzgerald for her service as a |
|
legislative intern with the House Committee on Criminal |
|
Jurisprudence and Chairman Aaron Pena and extend to her warmest |
|
best wishes for success in all her future endeavors; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Fitzgerald as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
