R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Christine Saenz is retiring from her position as a |
|
|
counselor with Socorro ISD, bringing to a close an exceptional |
|
|
career in education that has spanned four decades; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Holding this important position for the past 16 |
|
|
years, Ms. Saenz has greatly benefited the students of Socorro with |
|
|
her advice, her caring nature, and her outstanding dedication to |
|
|
their overall well-being; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Saenz brought to this challenging role a wealth |
|
|
of experience garnered from her years of service as an educator; she |
|
|
began her career in 1966 as a physical education and health teacher |
|
|
for Canutillo ISD, and the following year she took on |
|
|
responsibilities as a Head Start and third grade instructor for El |
|
|
Paso ISD; she was then employed at Ysleta ISD from 1975 to 1990 as a |
|
|
classroom teacher, and she began work as a counselor in 1990 with |
|
|
San Elizario ISD; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Christine Saenz is a credit to her important and |
|
|
respected profession, and she has truly earned the lasting respect |
|
|
and admiration of her students and her fellow educators; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Christine Saenz on her retirement |
|
|
as a counselor with Socorro ISD and extend to her best wishes for |
|
|
the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Saenz as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
