R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Janice Marie Kaluza of West has been named a
  Fraternal MVP by the National Fraternal Congress of America in
  recognition of her outstanding commitment to her community; and
         WHEREAS, A member of SPJST Lodge No. 54 for 32 years, Ms.
  Kaluza volunteered to coordinate the group's centennial
  celebration, played an integral role in establishing the youth
  club, and currently serves as a sales representative for her lodge;
  and
         WHEREAS, Working to benefit the West Ambulance Association,
  she has helped to raise money for this important endeavor for nearly
  three decades; she also serves as a reporter for the West EMS Ladies
  Auxiliary and volunteers to serve in the first aid booth each year
  at Westfest; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Kaluza further shares her time with her church,
  where she serves as a Eucharistic minister, vocation contact
  person, and teacher; in addition, she leads a devotional each
  Wednesday, assists in the food basket distribution on Thanksgiving,
  transports the elderly to mass, and often visits the residents of a
  local retirement home; and
         WHEREAS, Employed as a funeral director with Aderhold Funeral
  Homes, Inc., Ms. Kaluza has demonstrated a sincere dedication to
  her clientele by starting support groups for grieving adults and
  youth; and
         WHEREAS, Janice Kaluza has made invaluable contributions to
  her fellow residents, and it is indeed a pleasure to recognize her
  for her commendable service to the West community; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Janice Marie Kaluza on being named
  a Fraternal MVP by the National Fraternal Congress and extend to her
  sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Kaluza as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
