R E S O L U T I O N
 
         BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the State of
  Texas, 80th Legislature, Regular Session, 2007, That House Rule 13,
  Section 9(a), be suspended in part as provided by House Rule 13,
  Section 9(f), to enable the conference committee appointed to
  resolve the differences on House Bill 2093 (the issuance and
  enforcement of motor carrier overweight or oversize vehicle permits
  and motor carrier registrations; providing administrative
  penalties) to consider and take action on the following matter:
         House Rule 13, Sections 9(a)(3) and (4), are suspended to
  permit the committee to add the following:
         SECTION 3.  Section 622.953(b), Transportation Code, is
  amended to read as follows:
         (b)  The overall gross weight of a single motor vehicle used
  to transport seed cotton or equipment used to transport or process
  seed cotton may not be heavier than 64,000 [59,400] pounds.
         Explanation: The change is necessary to add a provision to
  the bill related to weight limitations for certain vehicles
  transporting agricultural products and equipment.
