R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, M. Sara Garza died on May 15, 2007, leaving her
  circle of family and friends with many cherished memories of time
  spent in her company; and
         WHEREAS, Born on July 31, 1944, in Brownsville, Sara Garza
  worked as a comptroller for a portrait company; in her leisure time,
  she enjoyed dancing, softball, and tennis; she was an active
  volunteer with LULAC and member of St. Patrick Catholic Church; and
         WHEREAS, Sara Garza lived a caring and purposeful life and
  was a positive force in the lives of her friends and family, and she
  will be deeply missed; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of M. Sara Garza and
  offer sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her
  father, Pablo Munguia and his wife, Olean; to her daughters, Norma
  Jean Rojas and her husband, Henry, and Lisa Ann Cooke and her
  fiancé, Eric Tellez; to her siblings, Eleazar Munguia and his wife,
  Carmen, Yolanda Lopez and her husband, Steve, and Irma Brown; to her
  stepbrother, Jeff Gause; and to her other relatives and many
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of M. Sara
  Garza.
