| WHEREAS, M. Sara Garza died on May 15, 2007, leaving her | ||
| circle of family and friends with many cherished memories of time | ||
| spent in her company; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Born on July 31, 1944, in Brownsville, Sara Garza | ||
| worked as a comptroller for a portrait company; in her leisure time, | ||
| she enjoyed dancing, softball, and tennis; she was an active | ||
| volunteer with LULAC and member of St. Patrick Catholic Church; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Sara Garza lived a caring and purposeful life and | ||
| was a positive force in the lives of her friends and family, and she | ||
| will be deeply missed; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of M. Sara Garza and | ||
| offer sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her | ||
| father, Pablo Munguia and his wife, Olean; to her daughters, Norma | ||
| Jean Rojas and her husband, Henry, and Lisa Ann Cooke and her | ||
| fiancé, Eric Tellez; to her siblings, Eleazar Munguia and his wife, | ||
| Carmen, Yolanda Lopez and her husband, Steve, and Irma Brown; to her | ||
| stepbrother, Jeff Gause; and to her other relatives and many | ||
| friends; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of | ||
| Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of M. Sara | ||
| Garza. | ||
