R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, M. Sara Garza died on May 15, 2007, leaving her |
|
circle of family and friends with many cherished memories of time |
|
spent in her company; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born on July 31, 1944, in Brownsville, Sara Garza |
|
worked as a comptroller for a portrait company; in her leisure time, |
|
she enjoyed dancing, softball, and tennis; she was an active |
|
volunteer with LULAC and member of St. Patrick Catholic Church; and |
|
WHEREAS, Sara Garza lived a caring and purposeful life and |
|
was a positive force in the lives of her friends and family, and she |
|
will be deeply missed; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of M. Sara Garza and |
|
offer sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her |
|
father, Pablo Munguia and his wife, Olean; to her daughters, Norma |
|
Jean Rojas and her husband, Henry, and Lisa Ann Cooke and her |
|
fiancé, Eric Tellez; to her siblings, Eleazar Munguia and his wife, |
|
Carmen, Yolanda Lopez and her husband, Steve, and Irma Brown; to her |
|
stepbrother, Jeff Gause; and to her other relatives and many |
|
friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of M. Sara |
|
Garza. |
