R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 80th Legislative Session, Chelsea Harmon |
|
has ably served the Texas House of Representatives as an intern with |
|
the Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence; and |
|
WHEREAS, Currently studying government, American studies, |
|
and history, Ms. Harmon is a member of The University of Texas at |
|
Austin Liberal Arts Honors Program; she has been active in a number |
|
of worthwhile groups on campus, sharing her time with the |
|
Legislative Relations Agency, Longhorn Honeys Spirit Organization, |
|
Phi Alpha Delta Pre Law Fraternity, and Freshman Leadership |
|
Organization; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Harmon has been a tremendous asset to the House |
|
Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence during her internship at the |
|
State Capitol; in addition to enhancing her knowledge of the |
|
legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star |
|
State, she has gained further experience in the field of public |
|
service; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Harmon has performed her duties as a legislative |
|
intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of |
|
special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Chelsea Harmon for her service as a |
|
legislative intern with the House Committee on Criminal |
|
Jurisprudence and extend to her best wishes for great success in all |
|
her future endeavors; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Harmon as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
