| WHEREAS, During the 80th Legislative Session, Chelsea Harmon | ||
| has ably served the Texas House of Representatives as an intern with | ||
| the Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Currently studying government, American studies, | ||
| and history, Ms. Harmon is a member of The University of Texas at | ||
| Austin Liberal Arts Honors Program; she has been active in a number | ||
| of worthwhile groups on campus, sharing her time with the | ||
| Legislative Relations Agency, Longhorn Honeys Spirit Organization, | ||
| Phi Alpha Delta Pre Law Fraternity, and Freshman Leadership | ||
| Organization; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Ms. Harmon has been a tremendous asset to the House | ||
| Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence during her internship at the | ||
| State Capitol; in addition to enhancing her knowledge of the | ||
| legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star | ||
| State, she has gained further experience in the field of public | ||
| service; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Ms. Harmon has performed her duties as a legislative | ||
| intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of | ||
| special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Chelsea Harmon for her service as a | ||
| legislative intern with the House Committee on Criminal | ||
| Jurisprudence and extend to her best wishes for great success in all | ||
| her future endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Harmon as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
