R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, John and Opal Huff of Canton are celebrating their |
|
|
60th wedding anniversary on May 31, 2007, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since exchanging the vows of matrimony in 1947, Mr. |
|
|
and Mrs. Huff have found in each other a caring life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Opal and John Huff count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes their son and his wife, three |
|
|
grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter with whom they enjoy |
|
|
sharing the many special occasions of life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For six decades, John and Opal Huff have brought to |
|
|
their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a |
|
|
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate John and Opal Huff on their 60th |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Huff as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
