R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Raquel Hodges of the Alice Independent School |
|
|
District has been named the 2006-2007 Schallert Elementary School |
|
|
Teacher of the Year; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Hodges attributes her own success to the hard |
|
|
work and perseverance of her mother; she wanted to be a teacher from |
|
|
an early age, and she sees her mission as encouraging students to |
|
|
follow their dreams and motivating those who seem to have given up; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Held in the highest esteem by her students and |
|
|
colleagues alike, Raquel Hodges has demonstrated unwavering |
|
|
dedication to Schallert Elementary School and has earned a special |
|
|
place in the hearts of her young charges with her enthusiasm, |
|
|
kindness, and commitment to excellence; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Raquel Hodges on being named the |
|
|
2006-2007 Schallert Elementary School Teacher of the Year and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Hodges as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
