R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with treasured times and
  meaningful accomplishments remain to comfort the loved ones of
  Lilly Moore Davis, who died in Austin on May 1, 2007, at the age of
  89; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Davis was truly a blessing to her family and
  friends, who will fondly recall the ready smile she had for all she
  met; and
         WHEREAS, A devoted member of Roane Church of Christ, she was a
  friend to many and enjoyed cooking, needlepoint, and ceramics; and
         WHEREAS, Held in the highest regard for her graciousness and
  her love of life, Lilly Davis will always be remembered with great
  tenderness and affection; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Lilly Moore Davis and
  extend sympathy to the members of her family: to her son, David
  Davis, and his wife, Salee; to her brothers, Houston "Doc" Moore,
  and his wife, Mildred, Starl Moore, and his wife, Joann, and Arnold
  Moore; to her sisters, Carrye Patton and Beulah Clower; to her four
  grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and to her other
  relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Lilly Moore
  Davis.
