A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

AN ACT
|

relating to the authority of a school district board of trustees to |

|
create a criminal offense for violation of a district policy. |

|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subsection (c), Section 37.102, Education Code, |
|
|
is repealed. |
|
|
SECTION 2. The heading to Section 37.102, Education Code, |
|
|
is amended to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 37.102. RULES[; PENALTY]. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2007. |
