A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to including the international symbol of access on certain |
|
|
specialty license plates. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 504.201, Transportation Code, is amended |
|
|
by adding Subsection (h) to read as follows: |
|
|
(h) The department shall include the international symbol |
|
|
of access, as defined by Section 681.001, on a specialty license |
|
|
plate issued under this chapter to a person who is eligible for a |
|
|
license plate issued under this section. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2007. |
