A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the regulation of barbers and cosmetologists at mobile |
|
|
locations. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subchapter G, Chapter 1601, Occupations Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Section 1601.306 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 1601.306. MOBILE LOCATION ALLOWED. A barbershop may |
|
|
be operated at a mobile location. |
|
|
SECTION 2. Subchapter G, Chapter 1602, Occupations Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Section 1602.307 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 1602.307. MOBILE LOCATION ALLOWED. A facility at |
|
|
which cosmetology is practiced may be a mobile location. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|
|
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|
|
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|
|
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|
|
Act takes effect September 1, 2007. |
