A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to limiting use of money in the Texas Enterprise Fund to |
|
|
recipients that provide health benefit plans. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 481.078, Government Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subsection (k) to read as follows: |
|
|
(k) A grant of money from the fund may not be made to a |
|
|
recipient unless the recipient commits to providing a health |
|
|
benefit plan to the recipient's full-time employees. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2007. |
