A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
 
  relating to limiting use of money in the Texas Enterprise Fund to
  recipients that provide health benefit plans.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Section 481.078, Government Code, is amended by
  adding Subsection (k) to read as follows:
         (k)  A grant of money from the fund may not be made to a
  recipient unless the recipient, as one of the performance targets
  in the agreement, commits to providing a health benefit plan to the
  recipient's full-time employees who are employed in a facility or
  activity financed by the grant.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2007.
