A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to statutory probate court associate judges in certain |
|
|
courts in Harris County. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 54.602, Government Code, is amended to |
|
|
read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 54.602. APPLICATION. This subchapter does not apply |
|
|
to: |
|
|
(1) the statutory probate courts of[:
|
|
|
[(1)] Dallas County; or |
|
|
(2) Probate Court No. 2 of Harris County, Texas |
|
|
[except Probate Courts Nos. 1 and 3]. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2007. |
