SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 11

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Pastor Rivers R. Glover I of Graceland Community Church on the occasion of the Second Annual Appreciation Services in his honor; and

WHEREAS, Inspirational and dedicated to helping others, this beloved pastor devotes his time and energy unselfishly to the members of his church; and

WHEREAS, Under Pastor Glover's outstanding leadership, the church provides enlightenment, hope, and support to the Rosenberg community; and

WHEREAS, A man of spiritual depth and devotion, Pastor Glover prays with and counsels his church members in times of hardship and bereavement and in times of joy and celebration, and he is a source of strength to his congregation and the community; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 80th Legislature, hereby join the members of Graceland Community Church in commending Pastor Rivers R. Glover I for his dedication to his work and for his exceptional leadership; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate. Ellis
