SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 33

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to

recognize Dusty Davidson, a member of the Westlake High School football team, who was recently honored for his athletic and academic accomplishments; and

WHEREAS, Dusty was named first team All-State and first team All-District, and he earned Academic All-District honors; and

WHEREAS, In earning these prestigious honors, Dusty furthers the Westlake High School football program's tradition of excellence and contributes to its reputation as one of the most celebrated programs in Texas high school football; and

WHEREAS, A senior tackle on the Westlake High School Chaparrals Class 5A state finalist football team, Dusty played a vital role in the success of the Chaparrals offense over the season; and

WHEREAS, Dusty has demonstrated great talent and determination in all his high school endeavors, and he can take pride in his performance; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 80th Legislature, hereby commend Dusty Davidson on his excellent football season and extend congratulations to him on his academic achievements; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. Watson
