SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 34
       WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Justin Tucker, a member of the Westlake High School
football team, who was recently honored for his athletic and
academic accomplishments; and
       WHEREAS, Justin was named first team All-District and
third team All-Centex, and he earned Academic All-District
honors; and
       WHEREAS, In earning these prestigious honors, Justin
furthers the Westlake High School football program's tradition
of excellence and contributes to its reputation as one of the
most celebrated programs in Texas high school football; and
       WHEREAS, A junior kicker on the Westlake High School
Chaparrals Class 5A state finalist football team, Justin
converted 65 points after touchdowns and was successful on
11 field goal attempts; and
       WHEREAS, Justin has demonstrated great talent and
determination in all his high school endeavors, and he can take
pride in his performance; now, therefore, be it
       RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
80th Legislature, hereby commend Justin Tucker on his excellent
football season and extend congratulations to him on his academic
achievements; and, be it further
       RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
