SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 64

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to pay tribute to Jewell T. Wilson on the grand occasion of her 80th birthday; and

WHEREAS, Jewell Wilson was born on February 8, 1927; she is well known for her charm and generosity of spirit; and

WHEREAS, A beloved and respected member of her community, Mrs. Wilson is noted for her courage, her compassion for others, and her enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest; and

WHEREAS, On the momentous occasion of her 80th birthday, her family and friends will honor her with a surprise party to recognize this milestone in her life; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 80th Legislature, hereby recognize Jewell T. Wilson as a treasured citizen of the State of Texas and extend to her best wishes for a memorable 80th birthday celebration; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her as a memento of this special day. Ellis
