SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 284

Sylvia Anita Diaz |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors |
|
and commemorates the life of Sylvia Anita Diaz, who died |
|
January 24, 2007; and |
|
WHEREAS, Sylvia Diaz enriched the lives of all who knew |
|
her through her warmth and kindness and her enthusiasm and |
|
vitality; and |
|
WHEREAS, An exemplary lady, Sylvia was known for her love |
|
and laughter and her ability to make others feel special and to |
|
help them through difficult times; she was a devout Christian |
|
and a member of the Catholic faith; and |
|
WHEREAS, A woman of courage, strength, and generosity, she |
|
gave unselfishly to others, and her wisdom, dauntless spirit, and |
|
valued counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew her; and |
|
WHEREAS, Sylvia was a devoted wife and mother, and she will |
|
long be remembered with affection and admiration by all who were |
|
privileged to share in her life; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, |
|
80th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved |
|
family of Sylvia Anita Diaz: her loving husband, Daniel P. Diaz; |
|
her daughters, Elisabeth and Yvette Diaz; her sister, Lillian Guerra; |
|
and her brother, Agustin Lopez; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
the members of her family as an expression of deepest sympathy |
|
from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this |
|
day, it do so in memory of Sylvia Anita Diaz. |
