SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 286

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Penny Smith, who was recently honored with a Hometown Heroes Award from Time Warner Cable San Antonio; and

WHEREAS, Penny is an outstanding individual who has made a commitment to improving the lives of children in her hometown, the City of Bandera; and

WHEREAS, Penny will be honored at a special dinner on February 21, 2007, in San Antonio; she is truly worthy of legislative recognition for her efforts on behalf of the children of Bandera; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 80th Legislature, hereby commend Penny Smith for her many accomplishments and extend congratulations to her on receiving a Hometown Heroes Award from Time Warner Cable San Antonio; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate. Uresti
