SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 391

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to pay tribute to Rita Louise Giblin on the grand occasion of her 90th birthday; and

WHEREAS, This gracious lady is well known for her charm and generosity of spirit, and she is a revered resident of Houston; and

WHEREAS, Rita Louise Giblin was born March 24, 1917; candid and outspoken, she is a true patriot in every sense of the word, and has shown her support of her state and her country throughout her long and exemplary life; and

WHEREAS, A beloved and respected member of her community, Mrs. Giblin is noted for her courage, her compassion for others, and her enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 80th Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to Rita Louise Giblin on her 90th birthday and recognize her as a treasured citizen of Houston and our state; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her as a memento of this special day in her life. Whitmire
