SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 429
 
  In Memory
  of
  Antonio Castillo, Jr.
 
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the citizens
  of San Antonio in mourning the loss of Antonio Castillo, Jr., who
  died February 11, 2007, at the age of 63; and
         WHEREAS, Antonio Castillo was born November 15, 1943, in
  San Antonio; he was the owner of Castillo Mission Funeral Home, a
  business he opened in the 1980s with his beloved wife; and
         WHEREAS, Castillo Mission Funeral Home began in a beautiful
  old building in downtown San Antonio and, in its new location
  today, remains one of the largest funeral homes in San Antonio; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Castillo enriched all who knew him with his
  warmth and kindness, his graciousness and dignity, and his
  consideration and vitality; and
         WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and compassion, he
  gave generously to others, and his wisdom, warmth, and valued
  counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew him; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Castillo was a devoted husband, father, and
  grandfather, and his family and friends will continue to live with
  the cherished memories of his life and his many accomplishments;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
  80th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the
  bereaved family of Antonio Castillo, Jr.: his loving wife of 30
  years, Zeferina H. "Fina" Castillo; his sons, Luis Antonio,
  Eduardo, and Anthony Castillo; his daughters and sons-in-law,
  Mayra Castillo and Jose Lara and Annette Selph and Al Selph; his
  brother and sister-in-law, Jesse Castillo and Mary Castillo; his
  sister and brother-in-law, Angie Martinez and Ray Martinez; and
  his four grandsons; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  the members of his family as an expression of deepest sympathy
  from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this
  day, it do so in memory of Antonio Castillo, Jr.
