SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 571

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Douglas W. Cross, who has been named a 2007 Distinguished Alumnus of Saint Mary's University; and

WHEREAS, A member of the class of 1968, Douglas has distinguished himself through his accomplishments, and he has brought honor and distinction to Saint Mary's University; and

WHEREAS, Douglas is being honored with two other notable and prominent alumni at the 2007 Distinguished Alumni Dinner, which is being held March 26, 2007, at the Omni San Antonio Hotel; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 80th Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to Douglas W. Cross on his selection as a Distinguished Alumnus and for being honored by the Saint Mary's University Alumni Association; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate. Wentworth
