SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 571
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased |
|
|
to recognize Douglas W. Cross, who has been named a 2007 |
|
|
Distinguished Alumnus of Saint Mary's University; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A member of the class of 1968, Douglas has |
|
|
distinguished himself through his accomplishments, and he has |
|
|
brought honor and distinction to Saint Mary's University; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Douglas is being honored with two other notable |
|
|
and prominent alumni at the 2007 Distinguished Alumni Dinner, |
|
|
which is being held March 26, 2007, at the Omni San Antonio |
|
|
Hotel; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, |
|
|
80th Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to |
|
|
Douglas W. Cross on his selection as a Distinguished Alumnus |
|
|
and for being honored by the Saint Mary's University Alumni |
|
|
Association; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
|
him as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate. |
