SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 597

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to pay tribute to Robert George Bisby of Galveston, who is being recognized by the Texas Real Estate Commission for his consistent licensure as a realtor for more than 50 years; and

WHEREAS, The Texas Real Estate Commission was established as a state agency in 1949; it has served effectively as the licensing and regulatory agency for the real estate industry in our state since its inception, and it is now honoring those individuals who have served in the industry for more than 50 years; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Bisby is known for his professionalism and his dedication to his work, and he is admired and respected by his colleagues; he deserves recognition for his service in the real estate profession and for having been continuously licensed since 1957; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 80th Legislature, hereby commend Robert George Bisby for his more than 50 years of service and success as a licensed realtor and extend to him best wishes for the future; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. Jackson
