SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 603

WHEREAS, The birth of a baby is one of the most treasured events in a person's life; and

WHEREAS, November 27, 2006, will be a day long remembered and cherished by Leila Michelle Jones, for on that day, her daughter Marguerite Honey Jones was born; and

WHEREAS, The beautiful baby girl weighed seven pounds 14 ounces and was 21 inches long; and

WHEREAS, Marguerite's safe arrival was the fulfillment of her mother's dearest wish; Leila is filled with joy over this long-awaited infant, who has already found a permanent place in her heart; and

WHEREAS, It is indeed appropriate that the Texas Senate welcome the arrival of this little girl, who will undoubtedly become a treasured citizen of her community; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 80th Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to Leila Michelle Jones on the birth of her precious child and best wishes for the future to Marguerite Honey Jones; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the Jones family as an expression of best wishes from the Texas Senate. Ellis
