SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 705

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Maureen Hackett for her service to the Mental Health Association of Greater Houston; and

WHEREAS, For the last four years, Maureen Hackett has served as president of the board of directors of the Mental Health Association of Greater Houston; she has shown special dedication to fulfilling the mission of the association; and

WHEREAS, The association has greatly benefited from Maureen's energetic leadership and is honoring her with a surprise tribute at the Treasures of Texas Gala on May 17, 2007; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 80th Legislature, hereby commend Maureen Hackett for her commitment to the Mental Health Association of Greater Houston and extend to her best wishes for the future; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate. Ellis
