SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 996
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Michael David Ramos
 
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
  commemorates the life of Michael David Ramos, who died
  April 5, 2007, at the age of 25; and
         WHEREAS, Michael Ramos was born July 6, 1981; he was a
  2003 graduate of Texas A&M University, where he was a proud
  member of the Corps of Cadets; and
         WHEREAS, An enthusiastic athlete from his youngest days
  when he began playing T-ball, Mike enjoyed playing baseball,
  football, basketball, and golf; he was a fan of the Dallas
  Cowboys, stock car racing, and his beloved Aggies; and
         WHEREAS, Mike had begun an exemplary career with the
  Chicago Mercantile Exchange as a bond trader; his ambition and
  determination were an inspiration to all who knew him; and
         WHEREAS, Mike Ramos was beloved by his family and friends,
  and he will long be remembered for his generous spirit and his
  many accomplishments; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
  80th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the
  bereaved family of Michael David Ramos: his mother and
  stepfather, Rosemary and Armando Calvillo; his father and
  stepmother, David and Linda Ramos; his sisters, Rebekah and
  Annissa; his brother, Matthew; his stepsister, Jennifer; his
  grandparents, Ramon and Eva Chapa and Victor and Henrietta Ramos;
  and his stepgrandparents, Estella and Jose Calvillo and
  Alejandro and Josefina Flores; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  the members of his family as an expression of deepest sympathy
  from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this
  day, it do so in memory of Michael David Ramos.
