SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1011

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Bestine Flood Forbes on the grand occasion of her 62nd birthday; and

WHEREAS, This gracious lady is well known for her charm and generosity of spirit, and she is a revered resident of Houston; and

WHEREAS, A beloved and respected member of her community, Bestine Forbes is noted for her courage, her compassion for others, and her enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest; and

WHEREAS, In celebration of her birthday, her friends and family are gathering on May 12, 2007, at Brady's Landing to congratulate her and share in this special day in her life; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 80th Legislature, hereby recognize Bestine Flood Forbes as a treasured citizen of Houston and our state and extend to her best wishes on the occasion of her 62nd birthday; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
