SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1026
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Cynthia Jolly, who recently retired from the Texas
  Department of Public Safety after 26 years of loyal service with
  the state; and
 
         WHEREAS, Cynthia began her career with the state in 1981,
  in the agency that became the Texas Department of Criminal
  Justice; at the time of her retirement, she was an accountant
  III/accounts payable supervisor with the Texas Department of
  Public Safety; and
 
         WHEREAS, A talented and resourceful individual, Cynthia
  demonstrated superior organizational skills and accounting
  expertise; she handled her many responsibilities with
  exceptional skill and dedication; and
 
         WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, Cynthia was greatly
  admired and respected by her colleagues, and her presence at
  the Texas Department of Public Safety is greatly missed; now,
  therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
  80th Legislature, hereby commend Cynthia Jolly for her many
  years of valuable service to the state and extend to her best
  wishes for the retirement years ahead; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
