SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1028

In Memory

of

Katalin S. Novak

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the citizens of San Antonio in mourning the loss of Katalin S. "Kathy" Novak, who died April 19, 2007, at the age of 70; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Novak will be remembered for her graciousness, her dignity, and her dauntless spirit; and

WHEREAS, She was a woman of courage, strength, and compassion who gave generously to others; her wisdom, warmth, and valued counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew her; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Novak was devoted to her family, and she will continue to live in the hearts and minds of those she left behind; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 80th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved family of Katalin S. Novak: her loving husband, Andrew; her children, Peter, Michael, Keith, and Donna; her brothers, Imre and Attila; and her six grandchildren; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the members of her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Katalin S. Novak.
