SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1057
       WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Jennifer Hamilton, who is retiring after more than
29 years of loyal service with the Office of the Comptroller of
Public Accounts; and
       WHEREAS, Jennifer joined the comptroller's office in 1977
and served in the Claims Division before transferring to the
Integrated Systems Division, where she played a vital role in
many large projects, including the FileNet Imaging system, the
Enforcement Wireless operation, and the LoneStar Imaging system;
she worked in several managerial positions before becoming team
leader in the integrated tax system section and assuming
responsibility of the Integrated Tax System Business Analyst;
and
       WHEREAS, Throughout her career, Jennifer has been noted
for her superior organizational skills and expertise; and
       WHEREAS, Jennifer is a talented and resourceful
individual, and she has handled her many responsibilities with
exceptional efficiency and dedication; and
       WHEREAS, An exemplary employee, Jennifer is admired and
respected by her colleagues, and her presence in the Office of
the Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly missed; now,
therefore, be it
       RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
80th Legislature, hereby commend Jennifer Hamilton on her
exceptional service to the Office of the Comptroller of Public
Accounts and her many contributions to our state and extend to
her best wishes for the retirement years ahead; and, be it
further
       RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
