SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1058
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Laura Zinsitz for earning a Girl Scout Gold Award; and
 
         WHEREAS, Few receive this distinguished award, the highest
  level of achievement in the Girl Scout program; and
 
         WHEREAS, Through the process of earning the Gold Award,
  girls develop a lifelong commitment to community service and gain
  skills that will contribute to their future success; and
 
         WHEREAS, Laura has displayed leadership by designing and
  conducting a service project that will have a positive and
  lasting effect on her community; and
 
         WHEREAS, Laura organized and completed a renovation of the
  Fredericksburg Christian School playground; this impressive
  project included trimming trees, painting equipment, and laying
  down pea gravel; and
 
         WHEREAS, In receiving the Gold Award, Laura has brought
  great honor to herself, her family, her council, her community,
  and her state, and she deserves recognition for her accomplishment;
  now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
  80th Legislature, hereby commend Laura Zinsitz on receiving
  this prestigious award and congratulate her on her outstanding
  achievement; and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
