SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1059

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Edwin Cruz Ortiz on the auspicious occasion of his graduation from college; and

WHEREAS, Edwin is graduating from Texas State University in San Marcos with a bachelor of liberal arts degree in public administration and political science on May 11, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Edwin and his classmates will attend commencement ceremonies at the Strahan Coliseum in San Marcos; and

WHEREAS, A high achiever, Edwin establishes and pursues his goals with perseverance and a clear vision of his future; his accomplishments in school bear witness to his dedication and outstanding abilities; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 80th Legislature, hereby commend Edwin Cruz Ortiz on the occasion of his graduation from Texas State University and extend to him best wishes for success in the years ahead; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. Ellis
