SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1085

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to congratulate the Methodist Health System on its selection by the Dallas Business Journal as one of the top 10 large businesses to work for in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex; and

WHEREAS, The Dallas Business Journal made the announcement at its annual "Best Places to Work" luncheon held recently; this year's recognition was the fourth year in a row that the Methodist Health System has made the Dallas Business Journal's list of best places to work; and

WHEREAS, Employees cited the health system's recognition programs and its continuing education programs, employee celebrations, volunteer support, and opportunities offered among the advantages of working for the Methodist Health System; and

WHEREAS, As one of the area's largest employers, Methodist Health System has a substantial economic impact on the region, and this outstanding health care organization deserves recognition for providing highest-quality medical services for the public and an excellent place to work for its employees; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 80th Legislature, hereby commend Methodist Health System for providing its employees a workplace that enhances their abilities to better serve the health care needs of the citizens of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
