SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1115

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Juan Davis on the occasion of her retirement from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice; and

WHEREAS, Juan Davis, a resident of Ellis County, began her work history with the State of Texas in the Waxahachie District Parole Office in May of 1985; and

WHEREAS, She later served in the Temple District Parole Office from 1993 to 1998; she is currently an institutional parole officer in the Arlington District Parole Office, where she has worked since 2000; and

WHEREAS, A talented and resourceful individual, she has handled her many responsibilities with exceptional efficiency and dedication; her official retirement date is May 31, 2007, and her future plans include serving in the Ellis County Sheriff's Office; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 80th Legislature, hereby commend Juan Davis for her many years of invaluable service to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and the State of Texas; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
