SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1225

WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Annette Quick, who is retiring after 32 years of loyal service with the Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts; and

WHEREAS, Annette joined the comptroller's office on July 21, 1975, and served in the Tax Records Division; due to her exemplary analytical skills, she was promoted to the position of test analyst and assisted in gathering processing requirements for Data Entry Systems; and

WHEREAS, In 1999, she transferred to the Data Services Division as a primary business analyst for Data Entry; an expert in her field, she assisted with the design and implementation of the 3266 and Sonix systems and the new Key-from-Image systems for Revenue Processing; and

WHEREAS, Throughout her career, Annette has been noted for her superior organizational skills, her dedication, and her professionalism, not only in the performance of her duties, but in the training of her coworkers; and

WHEREAS, A talented and resourceful individual, Annette has handled her many responsibilities with exceptional efficiency; and

WHEREAS, An exemplary employee, she is admired and respected by her colleagues, and her presence at the Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 80th Legislature, hereby commend Annette Quick on her exceptional service to the Office of the Comptroller of Public Accounts and our state and extend to her best wishes for the retirement years ahead; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
