No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code as it relates to the regulation of certain physician's offices where abortions are performed. 

Section 5 of the bill would repeal Section 245.004, Health and Safety Code, which relates to Exemptions from Licensing Requirements.

Section 6 of the bill would require compliance with the minimum standards before January 1, 2008.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
