HB36 by Solomons (Relating to a periodic review of state and local taxes.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would create the Select Committee on Revenue, composed of three members of the Texas Senate, three members of the Texas House of Representatives, the Comptroller and eight public members, to conduct studies and draft proposed legislation regarding state and local taxation.

Expenses of the committee are to be paid from available funds of the office of the Governor and the contingent expense funds of the Senate and House of Representatives.  These expenses are not expected to be significant.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
