IN RE: | HB53 by Chavez (Relating to the designation of the Cesar Chavez Border Highway.), As Introduced |
The bill would amend the Transportation Code to change the boundaries of the portion of Loop 375 in El Paso that is designated as the Cesar Chavez Border Highway.
Based on the analysis of the Texas Department of Transportation, it is assumed that costs and duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a vote of two-thirds of all members elected to each house or otherwise on September 1, 2007.
