No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require that school districts attempt to locate school bus stops at least 1,500 feet from the residence of a known sex offender.

Local Government Impact

In order to locate bus stops at least 1,500 feet from the residences of known sex offenders, school districts would need to monitor residential mobility of the offenders.
